The entitled person to grant a honorary patronage is Rector of the Medical University of Gdańsk. Granting the University’s patronage is not tantamount to the granting of a nominal Rector’s patronage. Patronage may be granted to events which are coincident with the strategic goals of the Medical University of Gdańsk. In special cases, Rector may decide to grant patronage to events that do not meet the criteria set out above. Granting patronage does not mean a declaration of financial or organisational support. The organiser is applying for the patronage of the event. The applications form can be found at www.promocja.gumed.edu.pl and should be sent to promocja@gumed.edu.pl. The application for patronage should be sent minimum 4 weeks before the date of the event. Applications submitted after this date will not be considered. In justified cases, Rector may consider applications submitted after exceeding the above deadline.
